Over the years we have continued to play as a band, in one form or another, to share the  message and love of the gospel.

The core band consists of Jen Green (Vocals), Derek Huff (Bass Guitar) and Andrew Cope (Keys)... But we get by with a little help from our friends and often enjoy guest musicians playing with us during live performances.So, that's just a little about us, hopefully we can meet you at our next live gig!

Mica Paris

Thursday 8th March

Mica Paris is one of the UK’s most respected female singers with a career full of Top 10 hit singles and albums worldwide. The range, power, and sheer soulfulness of Mica Paris' singing made an immediate impact on the UK music scene in 1988 when she released her debut, platinum-selling album, 'So Good’ from which she had her first top ten hit, 'My One Temptation'.

jesus jones +The Severs

friday 9th March

Jesus Jones are a British alternative rock band from Bradford-on-Avon in Wiltshire, formed in late 1988, recorded and performed in the late 1980s into the 2000s. Their track "Right Here, Right Now" was an international hit which was subsequently globally licensed for promotional and advertising campaigns. A great live band.

claygate choral society

saturday 10th March

Claygate Choral Society was founded in 1959 under the direction of Stanley Brown. Since then, the choir has had five musical directors, and under the inspirational leadership of Martyn Daldorph from 1989 to 2011 we have gone from strength to strength. Our current Musical Director is Ed Jones. Our repertoire to date has spanned a wide range of choral works, both large and small, performed at Holy Trinity Church in Claygate.

sunday 11th March

So Swing is a stylish, witty and sophisticated cabaret featuring all the great swing hits mixed with well known classics. An entertaining evening of great songs with three charismatic performers providing their own twist on the popular Rat Pack theme, adding a touch of romance.

All Stars

monday 12th March

The declared aim of the French Quarter All Stars is to play the authentic jazz from the birthplace of jazz, New Orleans. band from the U.K. that shares that enthusiasm.  The majority of the band personnel are all past professional members of well known U.K. jazz bands such as Chris Barber, Monty Sunshine, Ken Colyer, Pete Allen and the Pasadena Roof Orchestra.

tuesday 13th March

Vocality are a local choir consisting of people who just love singing. Their wide-ranging repertoire consists of pop, jazz, blues and folksongs, a gospel or spiritual and maybe one or two lesser well known songs of African, Maori, Georgian, or Hebrew origin.

KT Tenuto

wednesday 14th March

Join us for an evening of opera favourites, wonderful musical theatre and jazz standards with local singers KT Tenuto. We are a group of talented, trained vocalists from Claygate and beyond who have joined together to perform high quality singing, locally. The programme will range from Puccini, Mozart, Verdi and Bizet to Les Miserables, Bernstein and Gershwin!'

solem quartet

tuesday 13th March

Winners of the 2014 Royal Overseas League Ensemble Competition, the Solem Quartet was established by four music students at the University of Manchester, but its roots are local to Claygate. Following their studies Solem has had the privilege of studying with the internationally renowned cellist Christopher Richter as well as other leading chamber music teachers.

zoot money

thursday 15th March

Zoot Money is an English vocalist, keyboardist and bandleader. He is best known for his playing of the Hammond organ and association with his Big Roll Band.
He has been associated with The Animals, Eric Burdon, Steve Marriott, Kevin Coyne, Kevin Ayers, Humble Pie, Alexis Korner, Snowy White, Mick Taylor, Spencer Davis, Vivian Stanshall, Geno Washington, Brian Friel and Alan Price.

thursday 15th March

Gryphon may not be one of the better known of the British Progressive bands, but they are surely one of the most unique and interesting. The five albums they produced between 1973 and 1977 show their evolution from an all-acoustic medieval music quartet to a Progressive pop band. Richard Harvey and Brian Gulland, both alumni of the Royal Academy of Music, built Gryphon around their interest in ancient classical and folk music.

claygate scout & guide band

friday 16th March

The 1st Claygate Scout & Guide band are a very successful youth marching band. Reformed in 2001 with just 10 members the band has steadily grown and now boasts a membership of over 50. The band is 'A' graded (the highest in scouting) and regularly performs at village events as well as further afield.

jacqui mcshee's pentangle

friday 16th March

Pentangle are a British folk-jazz band with an eclectic mix of folk, jazz, blues and folk rock influences. The original band were active in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and the current lineup started in 1995.
An excellent night of varied music by a group of great musicians.

saturday 17th March

Anna Marie McLachlan is a young mezzo-soprano from London. She studied at the University of Southampton and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She was recently selected as a finalist in the Schubert Song Prize and masterclass with Dame Felicity Lott, for the London Song Festival. Chloe graduated with a First Class degree in music and has performed widely in oratorio, opera and recitals in the UK and abroad.

saturday 17th March

The Castalian Quartet is rapidly emerging as an exciting voice on the international chamber music scene. Over the last three years they have won top prizes at major international competitions including 3rd Prize at the 2016 Banff International Quartet Competition, 1st Prize and three special awards at the 2015 Lyon International Competition, and in 2013 1st Prize and the Audience Prize at the Kammermusik Hannover Next Generation Competition.

The Bohemians, established in 1996, re-enact the glory days of Queen including the Craziness of the 70s and the Magic of the 80s proving themselves to be the most dynamic and exciting Queen Tribute Band currently touring. They have performed all over the UK, Europe and the world at football stadiums, festivals, theatres and other prestigious venues. The Bohemians in their majestic magnificence receive standing ovations in response to their electrifying representation of a Queen Live Concert.

sunday 18th March

Caravan was formed in Canterbury, England in 1968 by Pye Hastings (guitar/ vocals), Dave Sinclair (keyboards), Richard Sinclair (bass/vocals) and Richard Coughlan (drums), and, with a few changes, are still wowing the crowds 50 years later!
If you want to see what all the fuss is about, pop along to the gig and get down!
